Hi there! It's me, your amie française Laurie!

I am a private tutor specialised in working with young people and more particularly toddlers, children, teens and adult beginners.

All French classes are held in-person in your own home or online via Microsoft Teams. I can travel up to 20 kilometres in Canberra and surroundings. For more information, please see the details below in the next page.

Whereas you are a beginner or have been learning French for years, I adapt to every public to make learning fun, enjoyable and suited to your needs!

On this website, you will find different French language course packages. Those classes will be tailored to your specific needs.

Here what I propose in terms of learning content.

Please note that the list is not exhaustive:

- grammar and conjugation

- talking, reading and writing

- conversation classes (if that is what you prefer!)

- IB preparation (for teenagers)

- DELF and DALF exam preparation for all levels

- immersion classes and support for francophones and binational children who are attending a French school (FLM, Français Langue Maternelle)

Where do the classes take place?

In the comfort of your own home or online via Micosoft Teams. Traveling fees as voided if you live within 10 kilometers of Belconnen.

How much are the traveling fees?

The traveling fees are $0.80 per kilometer.

Will I get some homework?

Homework will be given each week. The course material and the homework will be downloadable through a shared drive.

If I cannot attend my class, can I be refunded for it?

Unfortunately, classes are not refundable. If you are unable to make it to a session, a 24h notice is required in order to postpone your class. If no notice is given, the class is lost (unless in the event of exceptional circumstances).

How can I pay for my package?

To book your package, please go the package listing and add it to your cart. Specify the day(s) and timeslot(s) you would like your class(es). If you. are not sure about the timeslot(s) you would like, please send me an email prior to booking.

What are my payment options?

Payment is done online via or via bank transfer (upon request).
